Matteo completed the following studies: 1994 High school diploma at the A. Boito Conservatory of Parma.
1996 Piano Diploma at the A. Boito Conservatory in Parma. Currently enrolled in the 4th course of opera singing at the Nicolini Conservatory of Piacenza studying from Bass-Baritone under the guidance of Prof. Laura Groppi.
From 1997 to 2006 he worked as Actor and Singer in Corrado Abbati’s Operette Company for the following productions: La vedova Allegra, Madama di Tebe, Il Pipistrello, Addio Giovinezza, L’Acqua Cheta, Cin Ci Là, Sogno di un Valzer, Tea for Two, Il Paese dei Campanelli, Il paese del Sorriso, Il Conte di Lussemburgo, Al Cavallino Bianco.
From 2002 to 2006 he taught singing at the Istituto Pareggiato Musicale “C.MERULO” in Castelnuovo De Monti (RE)He also performed and still performs as a concert artist interpreting pieces from the repertoires of classical music, sacred music, musicals, operetta and modern music.
Since 2006 he has been working as a chorus artist with the Choir of the Teatro Regio in Parma.
Since 2008, he has been performing, collaborating with the Orchestra dei Pomeriggi Musicali di Milano and Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana.
He was part of the cast of “Beauty and the Beast” in the Italian production of Stage Entertainment where he was cover of the following roles: “Maurice,” “Din Don” and ” The Beast.”
