In the latter case, remember to report any cuts to the Maestro and, if possible make sure that the score contains only the parts you intend to sing.

It is not possible to be accompanied on the piano by a Master Accompanist from outside the School.

Why does one have to pay an audition fee?

The audition is an important and demanding moment not only for the candidates but also for the Jury, which decides, on this occasion, about the candidate’s future life, it is necessary to evaluate carefully. How many students are accepted each year?

No more than 25 per class.

Is the School Diploma recognized?

In Italy, the degree awarded by Professional Schools of Musicals has no state recognition at present.

However, the diploma is a document that is extremely important abroad in order to gain access to auditions, and in Italy it is an excellent presentation when the School you come from is known.

Professione Musical in addition has, within the curriculum, additional diplomas in individual subjects for Tap and Jazz, linked to the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, for international recognition.

Will people be able to prefer one subject over another according to their aptitude?

The educational program has been designed to allow students to achieve the best possible results in each of the subjects offered. There will be no distinction between subjects; all disciplines must be studied and brought to the highest level of quality according to each student’s individual abilities.

Is it possible to consider part-time work during the three-year period?

Some of our students have found odd jobs, evenings or weekends, to contribute to family expenses. However, the School’s requirement is also very demanding for home study and should be considered exactly like a university commitment with compulsory attendance.

Can one enter directly into the second or third year? Why three years of study?

Very rarely do we accept 2nd year students and almost never 3rd year students.

Three years of study is the minimum time we can require a body and mind to take in and make their own all the information that is given for each subject. Speeding up the time can be very dangerous, burning milestones may not create job outlets.

Are there job outlets at the end of the three years?

Many of our students get a job contract even before they have finished their third year of study (for the following season). A very high percentage (almost 90 percent) of graduates work in the theater field.

Clearly, the work done and the commitment devoted during the three years of study is crucial for optimal success in the work environment.

Many of our students have been part of National and International Musical Productions such as: Mary Poppins, Cats, Billy Elliot, Beauty and the Beast, The Addams Family, The Lion King, Tarzan, Rocky, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Flashdance, Chorus Line, Kiss Me Kate, Singing in the Rain, No,No Nanette, Cinderella, Dogfight, Sister Act, Wicked, etc.
