  • Maria Caterina began studying ballet and character in 1994 under the guidance of Masters Lucia Giuffrida and Francesco Frola at the “Puntodanzaclassica” school in Parma.
  • In 2002, she was chosen to participate as a corps de ballet in the production of “Giselle” with the company “Il Balletto di Parma.”
  • In the same year it also took part as corps de ballet in the opera “The Magic Flute” in the “Imparolopera” Review promoted by the Teatro Regio in Parma.
  • In 2003 with the company “Il Balletto di Parma” she is in the corps de ballet of “La Fille Mal Gardée.”
  • In 2004, she was selected for the Professional Training Course for Dancers directed by Lucia Giuffrida at the school “Professione Danza Parma” where she had the opportunity to approach the world of dance and theater at 360 degrees studying ballet and repertoire, contemporary dance, modern jazz, history of dance and ballet, acting and choral singing;
  • He also has the opportunity to study Musical repertoire with Roberto Giuffrida and Siobhan Law by participating in the productions of “International Musical Centre” (now “Professione Musical Italia”).
  • While in school, he takes professional exams in ballet RAD method and modern theater ISTD method.
  • She had the opportunity to participate in numerous national and international workshops and meet world-renowned Masters with whom she deepened and studied classical technique, repertoire and musical theater including Igor Piovano and Kathy Bradney (Bejart Ballet), Antony Dawson (English National Ballet), Mike Denmann, Miss Shirley Grahme, Cynthia Harvey (American Ballet Theatre), Mario Piazza (international choreographer), Bella Ratchinskaya, Vadim Desnitsky (lecturer and member of artistic commissions St. Petersburg Vaganova Academy).
  • Since 2014, he has been teaching at Professione Danza Parma ballet and pointe in the Professional Training Course for Dancers ( I and II year ) and amateur courses from Grade III;
  • Since the same year, he has also been in charge of the classical ballet section at the ARS Ventuno school in Correggio.
  • In the school years 2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, he collaborated with the Academy of Musical Theatre “The Bernstein School Of Musical Theatre” in Bologna as a substitute teacher of women’s technical ballet and men’s technical ballet.
  • He is currently a lecturer of classical technique for the BSMT Bachelor’s Degree Course in Bologna.
  • Graduated as a ballet teacher from Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing in London obtaining Diploma in Dance Instruction (DDI) – Imperial Classical Ballet (ISTD);
  • He is currently studying for the Diploma in Dance Education (DDE) – Imperial Classical Ballet (ISTD);
  • In 2021 he obtained the National Professional Diploma of SID Practitioner – Science in Dance as a specialist in physical preparation and prevention in dance.
  • She is a member of the ACSI National Register.
