  • Born on May 29, 1955, in Victoria de las Tunas Cuba. She followed her dance studies at the Escuela Nacional de Arte from 1966 to 1973.
  • 1973 – Graduated at the upper middle level from Escuela Nacional de Arte in the specialty of ballet and was awarded the “Pablo de la Torriente Brau” diploma with highest honors.
  • He began his working life as a lecturer at the Escuela Nacional de Arte.
  • 1974 – Collaborates with the Academia Nacional del distrito federal. México.
  • 1979 – Collaborates with the Vaganova Choreographic School in Leningrad.
  • 1982 – Finished his higher level dance studies at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory in St. Petersburg, with rojo diploma and Lenin medal.
  • 1982 – Resumed work at Scuola Nacional de Arte as teacher of Ballet, Historical Dances, Character Dance and Repertoire.
  • 1984 – Specializes in teaching men’s technique. Forms part of the èquipe Metodológico Nacional preparing plans and curricula for teachingelementary and middle school in the country.
  • He occupies the Assessorate entitled to National and Historical Dance taking charge of the training of teachers of these subjects for the entire national teaching sysem also taking care of their technical-professional training.
  • 1985 – Graduated in Art History from the University of Havana with highest honors.
  • 1986 – She is inducted as a Lecturer at the High Institute of Arts in Cuba where she prepares the Character and Historical Dance curricula.
  • 1987 – Collaborates with the Young Ballet Company of the Teatro Nuovo di Torino, Casale Ballet School.
  • 1988 – Teaches at the International Ballet Course in Vignale ,Italy.
  • 1989 – Teaches at the International Ballet Course in Vignale ,Italy.
  • 1990 – Collaborates with the Youth Ballet of Caracas, Camara Ballet of Caracas, National Teaching System of Conac, Venezuela.
  • 1994 – Collaborates with the National Ballet of Venezuela and the Higher Institute of Dance in Caracas Venezuela.
  • 1996 – Collaborates with the Universidad del Valle Cali Colombia, the Academy and the Incoltballet company, Cali, Colombia.
  • 1997 – Collaborated with the Municipal School Mazatlán, México, and participated in the international course organized for this academy.
  • 1998 – Participated in the International Ballet Competition in Jackson, EU.
  • 2001 – Part of the Company brought to Venezuela and is on the teaching staff.
  • 2002 – Participated in the International Ballet Competition in Nagoya, Japan.
  • 1989/1994 – Participated in the 6 national young talent competitions organized for UNEAC.
  • 1995/2004 – Participates in all international student meetings and competitions.
  • 2003/2005 – Third Ollín Yolitztli International Summer School in México City.

  • 2004/2008 – Teaches at the Academy of Dance of Fomento artístico Cordobés.
