  • Francis began his studies at the Ballet and Modern Dance Study Center directed by Tiziana Alia in Saint Vincent.
  • He studied at the dance academy of the New Theater of Turin and participated in the Professional Course of the New Theater of Turin.
  • Graduated from the Royal Academy of Dancing in London as an honors dancer (elementary honours-intermediate honours-advanced honours)
  • Graduated as a teacher from the Royal Academy of Dancing with highest honors (distinction).
  • Study the Cecchetti method at the intermediate level ( elementary honours- intermediate higly commended).

  • In 1987 he joined the Dance Company of the Teatro Nuovo in Turin, first as a corps de ballet and later as a soloist.
  • Dances in numerous ballets in the classical repertoire such as La fille mal Gardèe, Nutcracker, Coppelia, Swan Lake.
  • As first dancer he danced Coppelia, The 4 Seasons (choreographed by Marco Pierin), Giselle (first guest dancer at the Bucharest Opera) reconstructed for him by Ileana Iliescu.
  • He also dances numerous pieces from the classical repertoire such as The Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Vivandière, The Carnival of Venice, Don Quixote, Romeo and Juliet and many others.
  • He reconstructs numerous pieces of the classical repertoire for the New Theater.
  • Many choreographers create neoclassical and contemporary choreography for him.
  • Participates in major company tours in Italy, Switzerland, Korea and Brazil.
  • He danced as a principal dancer at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and as a soloist in the Asmed Ballet company directed by Paola Leoni where he danced in contemporary choreography by Mario
  • Piazza and Cornelia Wildisen.
  • He danced as First Dancer in the Young Classical Ballet Company in Coppelia and as a soloist in Carmen, La Fille mal Gardèe, Don Quixote, etc.
  • In 1995, he was invited by the Royal Academy of Dancing in Tokyo to take part in a Gala on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Academy to dance as a soloist in Raimonda and in one of the principal roles in Kennet Mc Millan’s Solitaire.
  • In 1993 he was first dancer and artistic director of the Balletto di Parma association, which owns a ballet and contemporary dance company and a four-year training course for dancers.
  • He is the official choreographer of Corrado Abbati’s operetta company from 1998 to 2004.
  • From 1999 to 2001, he organized a major summer dance school in Aosta Valley and Parma with many internationally renowned teachers.
  • From 2000 to 2006 he was artistic director, together with Lucia Giuffrida, of the International Dance Center of Parma.
  • From 2004 to 2006 he was artistic director of the International Musical Centre.
  • Since 2006, he has been the artistic director of “Professione Musical,” a three-year professional school for musical artists.
  • She has been teaching ballet, pas de deux, repertoire and ballet history at the Professione Danza school in Parma since 2006
  • He is a lecturer of classical technique and repertoire in the Professional Training Course for Dancers Di Professione Danza and the Professional Course for Musical Artists(www.professionemusical.com).
  • Since 2020, he has been the Artistic Director of the “Balletto di Parma” Youth Dance Company.
  • He has been a lecturer in ballet history for the university course for accompanying masters at the “A. Boito” conservatory in Parma.
  • He is a guest teacher of numerous ballet and contemporary dance workshops.
  • He is a member of the International Dance Council (UNESCO).
