She was born in Parma in 1981. After practicing various sports such as Judo, Thai Boxing and soccer, she began studying contemporary dance at age 17 at her mother’s school.
In 2002 he was a fellow at the Isola Danza Academy directed by Carolyn Carlson, where he came into contact with Northern European dance and U.S. movement research currents.
He obtained a few years later, a degree in Scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna with a thesis on improvisation in dance.
He continued his dance studies with a number of masters he met at the Biennale, while at the same time beginning professional work as a freelance dancer in dance-theater and contemporary dance companies in Switzerland and Germany.
Upon returning to Italy, he worked from 2010 to 2014 for Simona Bertozzi and other companies. During the same period he resumed martial activity.
In 2013 the first personal movement research project that led him to the realization of a training in the woods for three weeks. Hence some insights: a primitive/poetic movement that refers to a writing for images in which sign, space and moving graphics are intertwined.
In 2014 he founded MP.ideograms and won the Equilibrium Prize with the solo “Graphs of Silence.”
In 2015 she debuted at the Equilibrio Festival with “Dei crinali” and, also the same year, she debuted with “Horizon” at the Young Author Dance Showcase in Ravenna.
In 2016 he participated in the Venice Biennale’s “VITA NOVA” project with the first chapter of the “Primitiva” project, a work that continued in 2017 at Scenario Pubblico in Catania with MoDem dancers. In 2017 he won the GD’A Young Author Dance Award,
debuts with Labile Pangea at the Open Festival in 2018.
Manfredi Perego has been supported by TIR Danza since 2015.
Since 2017, he has been collaborating as a guest master with the Ballet Theater of Turin, collaborating in a number of performance productions; in 2020 he created the choreography “study for Anemoi.”
He is Associate Choreographer at the National Center for Dance Production Public Scenario/CZD for the three-year period 2019-2021.
He teaches as a freelancer in several Italian and also foreign professional ensembles such as Balletto di Roma, Laban Trinity College, Austrian Youth Ballet, ROS Opus Ballet, Agora Coaching Project, Royal Academy of Dance Italia.
